One of the things I love about my apartment is the plethora of WTF moments that my neighborhood offers.
We’ve had people spending 8 hours making out in the park across the street. We have a resident chalk artist who beautifies the street with his drawings. Friday mornings are so much fun to watch the people walk back to their dorms/class on what I can only imagine is a walk of shame.
This van was outside last night when I got home from dance class. I snapped a few photos, but then found this one on that guy I like’s facebook page this morning so I’ll steal it.
I totally laughed when I saw it.
If it’s not clear, it says “Zombie Termination Pick Up & Collection 1-800-ZOM-BIES”.
It’s your basic off white utility van that gives me the heebiejeebies in the first place. (Child Molester Van anyone?) Yes, they’ve added a sign for authenticity, but it’s really the extra details that they’ve added that gives it a certain je ne sais quoi of creepiness. What extra have they added (if you can’t see it)? They’ve added blood spray/spots on the side and what I think might be brain smear on the glass.
Ew. Just ew.
Personally, I believe in some things that many people don’t. The Devil? Yes. Vampires? Possibly. Santa Claus? You bet I do. G-d? In my own way. That people are mostly good? Yes. That unicorns fart glitter? Of course. I do not Zombies though.
Do you believe in Zombies?
Edited to add: Apparently they’re shooting a movie nearby.

“a certain je ne sais quoi of creepiness.”
You got that right!
I think I would freak out if I saw that van on my block! Although I do NOT believe in Zombies!

I saw this on that guy you like a whole lot’s facebook, and think it’s just fabulous. Now that I’ve read the story about the movie, I’m even more excited. Thanks for that link!
