Happy New Years Everyone

Ok- so I’m a little late with the wishing of New Years joy and success and all that jazz. But everyone knows that I’m a busy busy girl. I wish everyone I know (even the ones I might dislike from time to time) the most successful year yet.

In recent events, I spent some nice time with the family for Christmas. Nanny’s was a meager 27 people and 4 dogs this year. (That number being down from recent years) It was fun though, the family met Mom’s “friend” Bill, and Pop didn’t try and kill him. It was a good night. Mehmere’s was good too. Dinner was promptly served at around 5 this year as opposed to last years 1030 pm. No snow blowing was required. The night ended as the last few years have with more food at Maggie’s and CAR’s. And Martinis and beer. I got to talk to Bill and that was nice. He invited me to go to LA to visit. I might just do that. We ended the night with Ed at the Bell. (Ahhh Tradition!)New Years was spent in Boston with my lovely students from hell (they were all on their VERY best behavior) and I only had to threaten some of them with Country music all the way home. They chose to behave. I had the opportunity to see Gary in the last few weeks and that was a nice evening with the boys from yesteryear. The night ended in a funny story so please be sure to ask me about it. I’ll not post it here because some might not consider it nice to do so. :) I’m looking for a new job. Teaching arts and crafts just isn’t doing it for me anymore and really I spent 5 years in college. I can do more than babysit young adults who want to call me “Miss” or “Cracker” or even better yet, my favorite and yours “Miss Cracker”. (Yes, I know I’m one of the palest people on the planet so I don’t take offense to this name.)I have been doing some more writing. Come back soon for some recent life inspired works. (Possible postings may include Metrosexuals and Cookie-Cutter Girls; YMCA: Christian Values My Ass; some fun poetry and others.)

To keep everyone up to date: Yes, I’m still working 60 hours a week. No, I have no life out of work right now; Yes, I’m still single; No, there will not be an application to date me; You all know how to get a hold of me if needed…

Don’t let the bed bugs bite
